Start with the current research guide to understand what is proved now. This archive preserves the route to those results and the arguments that explain why several alternatives did not finish the problem.

• Earlier bounds and status reports records previous cutoffs, intermediate stopping bounds, and earlier summaries. Their lists of remaining cases are historical.
• Other approaches and obstructions retains the elliptic transformations, surface calculations, approximation experiments, and intermediate arguments that are not needed on the current reading route. Some contain valid useful lemmas even though the proposed approach did not settle its target.

All scripts and records, including older finite computations, are kept together in the computation folder. Current proofs sometimes use an earlier computation as an input; its mathematical note remains linked from the proof that needs it.
