1949_02_01_bruck_ryser: Bruck and Ryser (1949): a finite projective plane of order n congruent to 1 or 2 mod 4 exists only if n is a sum of two squares, excluding orders 6, 14, 21, 22 and infinitely many more; a partial answer to the problem.

1989_12_01_lam_thiel_swiercz: Lam, Thiel and Swiercz (1989) report the computer search showing that no finite projective plane of order 10 exists, the smallest order that is not a prime power and passes the Bruck–Ryser test; a partial answer.
